Finally off the mark for 2024.

G’day everyone.

I finally got out for the second time this year and found my first gold for 2024. Nothing big but good to finally put some yellow on the board.

I got the first piece on a track that I had found several bits on some time ago and thought there might be some more there. It’s a difficult spot due to all of the rubbish close by. After finding the piece I went to have something to eat and rang Moredeep to tell him of my success since he couldn’t get out today. He said I should try up the top of the road about 30 metres further on. There should be gold there but it will be small.

He was right. There was gold there and it was small. I got the other 2 pieces up there.


So I ended up with 3 pieces for the day. 0.09 gram, 0.06 gram and 0.08 gram. Petrol money basically.
It was a beautiful day all round.
