A mates gold
IT'S NOT MINE
I got a call on Friday arvo from my mate to say he had snagged a nugget,53 gms
So yesterday I went up for a detect only to find him on all fours digging.
I gave him a hand and after a while we'd uncovered another 36 gms from a deep crevice.
Although not my gold it was great to share in the excitement of plucking gold out from the earth.

We looked like Cheshire cats and not grinning idiots
Thank a god for the humble pin pointer, a very useful tool in tight situations.
He went back today and pinged a sub grammer and that was it all over.
