Asteroid 2023BU will pass within 3,500 km of the Earth on the 27 Jan 2023.
The Earth is 12,700 km in diam so that is a very close fly by for a lump of iron 5mtr in diam.
This is the second close call (that we know about) the Earth has had in a week.
