The Speci Hole with the 6000
This is the most quartz species I have found in a single small hole about half a meter round and 12" deep. There are just 5 small nuggets free. The total was 52 found over 3 part days.Nearly all the species were shallow above the clay layer and nothing deep. This was an old detector hole.Truly an enjoyable experience.Still processing some of the residual gravel for more species but the rain put an end to that for a while.

Re: The Speci Hole with the 6000
Rare to find so many species huddled together in one hole to say the least. Trying to find a good day for detecting in between the rainy days, has become a bit more of a challenge lately, but persistence somehow finds a way of getting results.
Top going. Well done deutran.
