Finders Forum Closed Down

As the title states.
Finders, a rather robust forum that was not for all, was legally threatened by a well known identity, who has been banned from this forum and others as well.  Coincidentally Finders has been under a spam attack for the past fortnight.  It is thought that that Admin was ill or just got sick of the threats from the above person plus the unrelenting spam attacks.

Finders has been around forever, it was loosely administered and so a fair bit of rough and tumble occurred but the main loss is the archival posts, which went back a long time to the early detecting days and was very informative.

All gone now, RIP Finders.

Thanks for the update.
Shame & sad to hear of such news/events taking place.  Grown adults behaving like spoilt children, appalling behaviour by anyone's standards.
I personally don't know who it is or were that created such issues for Finders, for I don't get involved in such, less that certain individual/s misbehave on this forum.

What happened to Finders would never happen on this forum because the great admin here is active , receptive and responsible and would never allow things to get out of hand.

One thing I fail to understand, is that we're all grown up adults & there are times when we all get off the wrong side of ones bed but, there are also times when we just have to agree on disagreeing with one another's points/views & leaving it at that.
Less write ups or personal opinions are full of crap, all members views are read, valued & taken into account. It's only when people turn to nasty insults & vulgar language/criticism & disrespect for one another, that forces management & myself to step in the hope of bringing back peace & order. Something of which we do with a heavy heart. Besides, what example are we setting up for all new comers or the younger generation, when we ourselves stray to the point of misbehaving worse than spoilt brats?
Respect for one another starts by respecting ones self & that's all of what management has ever asked of anyone on here.
So do what is right by one another, so that management can do what is right by you.

Very true indeed, and also this forum has no agenda and this forum has committed, multiple moderators, so a spam attack and illegal links posted here would be dealt with in a timely manner.

Do you know the owner, maybe 'we' could pay the hosting and extract the data and possibly Kon would allow the data to be archived on this forum, just an idea to capture the knowledge

Hmm,   interesting.

It is quite obvious that someone on here or from elsewhere, is trying to put member up against member, for the sole purpose of creating chaos/anarchy, but only a matter of time before I figure that one out & take all necessary precautions/action, to have that person or persons dealt with accordingly.
BTW, this topic has all but run its course & I have no intention of letting it continue for the sole purpose of creating anarchy/chaos to the detriment of this forum.
