Re: headphones
I have asked that question of a number of dealers and the maker/supplied.
Never got an answer from any of them.
It's the only pair of headphones I've seen, where you can't get the specifications.
For that reason I didn't purchase any.

Re: headphones
And rightly so IvanII. Although the brand of who makes them might not be so important, but the ohms or impedance they put out are.
Finders Keepers has them for sale, with a pair of second hand ones up for sale from Lucky Strike Gold Prospecting Geelong Vic, but I can't seem to find any stats accompanying such headphones.
All Finders Keepers have about them on their website, is that they're designed by prospectors for prospectors, but when I got into their "Additional Information" section, It said weight 1kg, colour black. Surely the weight part can't be right? Koss UR 30 100 ohm weigh in at 12 ounces

Re: headphones
Each to their own I suppose, but for that sort of money golden oldy, my recommendation would have to be a pair of Sennheiser HD 599 & you'll never look back. Light in weight, super comfortable around the head, with superb acoustics for use on all VLF's & Minelab PI detectors.
Currently going for $221.63 on Amazon

Re: headphones
If they are the ones I think they are,now called ZX gold pro or what ever, made by prospectors for prospectors don’t waste your money.
cheap junk Chinese housing with a flash sticker and what looks like speakers from the old baker lite telephones. Everyone I know who has them has had them break, admittedly he does honourthe warranty and replaces them but that’s no good when your old in whoop whoop without a spare.
For that amount of money you want quality and probably noise cancelling, not Chinese crap with ex telephone speakers shoved in them.

Re: headphones
It would be a fair bet that they are 300 ohm imp hp's. ....SS300. = S uper S ensitive 300 ohm Head Phones.
The ML PIs require high impedance HP's and the SS300's are supposedly good for the ML PI's
