Have a great new Year everybody.

WE did a new year good deed this morn . When we arrived home from watching the first New Year sun rise; Drove up the drive way opened the car door and a lost  staffie jumped onto my lap in the front seat, huffing and puffing like a mad thing. Some dogs wag their tails, this one was wagging his whole body.  
  After several phone calls and chip checking ( I have a chip scanner) and posting on face book, checking with DAS and the emergency Vet, we located the owner just now.
The dog had nicked off during fire works and found himself in our yard 10km from his home.  A long walk for an 11 year old pooch .  

Happy new year to everyone.I hope you all get gold in your scoops and colour in the bottom of your pans.

It is a Happy New Year so far, feeling confident about digging some yellow once summer has passed.

Yeah confidence and belief is mandatory in this game coz without it the flies, heat, frost n rain thunder and lightning can get the better of you.
The gold is there just waiting for that next sweep of the coil. Just one more sweep, just one more and I'm going home, just one more. I can feel it in my bones, just one more sweep.

Yep; know that feeling, I keep sweeping until my car starts to interfere with my machine.
