CHARGE THOSE BATTERIES!
To everyone who has been stuck in lock down, I tip my hat to you
Weather is a bit wild and woolly but hopefully that won't stop you.
Charge the batteries, check the equipment, put the refreshments in the car and find some yellow ointment to suck on

Re: CHARGE THOSE BATTERIES!
No doubt Melbournians have had it tough the last few months under lockdown. A charge of the light brigade is highly likely, but do take care out on the roads.
Cheers Kon.

Re: CHARGE THOSE BATTERIES!
Be very careful out in the bush . We got smashed in the Ballarat area with the storms and there are trees down with carnage everywhere. Plenty of dangerously hanging branches , blocked roads, damaged powerlines and debris littered all over the place. I was without power for 16 hours and Ballarat itself had power in pockets ,but alot of businesses didn`t have anything all day ,including my work. If you can and do go out detecting , just be alert to the present dangers of trees blocking roads and tree limbs falling without notice. Take a chainsaw with you ,too.

Re: CHARGE THOSE BATTERIES!
close but no gold Guernsey sharkbait , I thought I could shout the whole forum after this effort.
Not sure what it is/was, could be a type of cast iron, I stuck it on the grinder and no sparks appeared.
It's slightly magnetic but gave a gives a good signal, measured depth was 640mm and appeared to be in virgin ground
That's life
