This is a fantastic tool for any prospector looking for historical info and for any other historical research.
Some great writing skills by the reporter on the gold fields.
It's sometimes easier to read the predicted text on the left but sometimes it doesn't make sense as the prediction of the original text is wrong.
This particular article is read better from the newspaper itself [dry not to drool  Laughing ]

I have been using this resource for years. Knowing what key words to search for and then reading between the lines of an article and finding the fine details can give you good leads and information you won`t find anywhere else. I have got my eye on one particular spot because of five particular words in one article , but have not followed up on it yet.

spot SOF, little forgotten gold finds that might be mentioned only once in a paper can lead you to some forgotten diggings.

Pretty much what Mr D.W. de Havelland did with his series of Gold & Ghost books.
Except he had to do it the hard way looking at micro film at the library.
Awesome source of info on Trove!
