Finding a smelter

Hi:
I am not a prospector but seeking help from those of you with experience. My dad passed a while back and left us a small jar with un-processed stones and dust mixed with gold flakes and what looks like, maybe, a small nugget. I live in the Phoenix/Mesa area and wondered if any of you knew of someone or somewhere I could take the material to be crushed and smelted so that I can distribute the value of the gold to my grandchildren.
