Off To Yalgoo
Hello Guys and Girls
I am a Registered nurse taking two patients.... both servicemen (One serving one retired) for a prospecting experience.
We are considering the Yalgoo area, however I am happy for any other advice.
We are looking at the last week in September.
Any location advice will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Off To Yalgoo
Hi Stew, I think the Yalgoo shire has a free area for tourists to prospect on. It may be an easy option for you. cheers Pete.

Re: Off To Yalgoo
Hey Stew
Just wondering if this is for a defence support organisation. I am also ex service( Discharged 2013) and love to get out in the bush. I understand its a bit further north but I am in the Pilbara and happy to help out if you want. Not a lot of pending ground up here but plenty of ground to lodge a 40e on that is still producing good gold.
Drop me a line if I can help, also have a few spare detectors if someone wants to give it a go but have no gear( GPX5000 and SDC so both very capable)

Thank Guys
Thanks fo the responses. Someone has suggested speaking with mining companies, some may want to help us, given the reasons we are going.
Any mining held sites anyone knows of .. let me know

Re: Off To Yalgoo
if you get in touch with the shire, for $10 they will give you an area that the shire has for detector users.
