Yesterday's finds.

It was another pleasant day out yesterday. Moredeep dropped over for a chat but had other business to attend to so the other two with me detected the same area we have been doing for some time now. I really don’t expect to find much gold here but it still surprises me. I was the only one to find gold for the day. I still found a number of pellets as well.

The pieces weighed: 0.13 gram, 0.3 gram, 0.05 gram, 0.49 gram and 0.13 gram.

I really feel for Bob as he is on his third detector and still trying to find his first piece of gold.
All but the last piece I had to dig into the ground to retrieve rather than just scraping the surface. The 0.05 gram piece was about an inch in the ground at least. I usually get those ones on the surface.

Good on you Axtyr. Nice little finds. It all adds up. It is the size gold I am used to getting too & the pellet's drive me nuts. Get way more than my fair share of those damn things. Bloody rabbit shooters.
