Typical eh....Nightjar rests his "weary" bones whilst Kalgal slaves over a hot fire
Best of luck in the field this season to you both

Hhahhahah We both know that's not true Boobook. Hope to catch up with you out on the track.
Re: 2020 Season draws near.
I'm not going to WA this year. We are going to do a bit of touring up to Kakadu then down to do a bit of prospecting in Tennant Creek for a fortnight. Haven't done much prospecting in the NT so I'm looking forward to it as a bit different.

Re: 2020 Season draws near.
I’m off to see family in southern NSW, after the bushfires, then to Man from Snowy River Festival in VIC. Would love to have time to detect there but don’t think I’ll have time.
Then ...... off to Clermont Q to try my luck in the GPA’s.

Looks like a Max Manix?
I have one here but I won't post a pic of it coz it is a one off from back in the mid 60s.n I don't want anybody copying it.
Only a biscuit tin sitting on the sink here Adrian.

Re: 2020 Season draws near.
Pretty certain that would be a Max Mannix reproduction on Nightjar's biscuit tin.
The front of the old truck is very typical as are the characters.
We also have an original Max Mannix oil painting, but would not be too concerned about copies, he is almost a "paint it while you wait" artist with reproductions everywhere.
Much prefer the Pro Hart, Jack Absolom, Hugh Sawry and Sydney Nolan we have hanging on the shed wall!

Re: 2020 Season draws near.
NAHHHH Pr Harts are a dime a dozen. They are everywhere.
My MM was valued by a gallery that flogs Pro harts by the dozen, 10 years ago at approx 4000 AUD and then they asked if I wanted to sell it.
