No not only you moredeep. I too was just about to comment on how rare a specimen of gold embedded in amongst clear crystal quartz was, but you got to comment first. Bloody well fooled the lot of us I reckon.

I don't think I have ever seen gold in crystal quartz before would love to see a pic or 2 if anyone was lucky enough to find one

I thought the same about the Gold/Quartz Crystal as my young bloke found one a few years ago, not sure if he had any pics of it though.
