Gold Panning Gloucester/Copeland

Hi All,

I'm currently planning a panning trip in the area of Copeland. The history of the area suggests gold mining of extensive reefs, however much of the area is now under the Copeland State Conservation Area where panning/fossicking is outlawed. Can anyone enlighten me on the current standing of the area or places where panning would be legal/local knowledge.

I have just replied to this . There was an old post 6 years ago called Gloucester /NSW . It has been added that post. Can the Mods. sort it out . I cannot see it .
