Hi Tim, I know this will fall on def ears, but I'll try once again.
I've been following your successes and failures over the last few years and your failures with the Minelab 4500 far outweigh your successes.
The ML 4500 is not finding you any gold because it is a complex machine that requires a lot of reading of the manual, and some people can't comprehend what is written or are able to put into practice what the manual asks them to do.
Someone in your position should be using the Minelab SDC 2300 to find gold..... and it will find it almost immediately, because the one thing we know about you, is that you are very hard working and enthusiastic about gold detecting.
Sell the ML 4500, buy the SDC 2300 and you will have money left over.
For once Tim, take what I have written seriously, I've owned the ML 4500 and the SDC 2300. I kept the SDC 2300 and sold my ML 4500 and have not looked back.
The SDC 2300 almost always finds gold.
Sincerely
Harry, Slimpickens.

Tim I also with everything that has been said to you. At our branch outings at least more than half the gold found on these outing are found with the SDC 2300. They are basically a turn on and go machine.
