SDC 2300 flexi. stand

G'Day Guys

I have had my SDC 2300 a few months now, still have not found any gold but I have created what I think is a very simple but also very flexible 'stand', I have been using something similar for years on the X Terra so it is a time tested solution.

As I live in SA & most of the good places are very hard to get to I ride my WR450, I need to be able to collapse the SDC down completely & slide into a backpack, so cant have any gear attached to the detector.

I really like deutran's idea to hold open the ( dont know what you call it ) 'arm slot' as my shirt sleeves get caught & stop me sliding me arm in. I'm digging almost every target so easy arm insert & withdraw makes the day go so much easier !!!

I can easily remove my stand & drop into the backpack & also adjust the angle to suit the terrain, you can move it up & down the detector as it is not set in place, it only costs $7 & is indestructible which is a good thing when I crash the WR

I just had a look at this stand, nice simple remedy to a crappy design fault I will definitely grab a clamp & see how it works out for me.
