Hi all,

I recently purchased at Sat. phone. I got an iridium 9555 for a good price. As yet I haven't got a sim for it, but looking for a prepaid that is active for a few months perhaps up to six if I last that long in the field. If anyone has suggestions that would be handy.
The reason I'm posting is to let forum goers know that there is a new product called the iridium go which is essentially a sat. hotspot and allows data and voice calls. Could be good for some folks out there. It turns your smart phone into a beefed up sat phone capable of data. There's even an unlimited data download for $160 month. I'm not sure of the speed though but netflicks and gaming out bush would be nice...

Had a look at some Ebay listings of this gadget. Seems to be a nifty device.
