wireless headphones with a GPX 4500/5000
Iv'e been looking on the internet if there was such a thing as wireless headphones for a GPX4500 or 5000.
Can you get an adapter or something like that? I see minelabs have a pro sonic set up, but you still need to plug in the headphones to the receiver.
is there anything out there that bluetooth headphones would work with?
Thanks again.

Re: wireless headphones with a GPX 4500/5000
G'day Jeff,
I know this topic has been discussed quite a few times. But I'm still using normal headphones.
Unless you want to custom make you wireless gear?
Maybe check out Nenad Lonics website, If you haven't already.
He knows his stuff and from what I hear. He's great to deal with.

I'm going to be changing my audio setup soon using Phasetechnical's gear.
Cheers,
NeoGeo.

Re: wireless headphones with a GPX 4500/5000
There's a few different bluetooth transmitters available that work.
I've found that the best ones are any that have the Aptx low latency codec like Avantree Bluetooth Saturn Pro low latency units. Tried some Tao Tronics low latency units briefly that seemed to work ok too.
To get the full benefit of the Aptx low latency the headphones you use need to have it also or you will only get normal latency to them.
There are people who find normal Bluetooth ok but any I've tried I can notice the lag & find low latency way better.
Other non-bluetooth wireless options like the ones Nenad sells at Phasetech (Deteknix) work well too. There are also Seinheisser RS160's that work on Kleer wireless technology that have minimal latency & work well. Downside is apart from the RS160 headphones there are few options in other heaphones/earphones for Kleer wireless. TDK WR700's also operate on Kleer but I haven't tried them.
