Considering there $399 full price, I guess it's good value, is it second hand? Yes they work very well we use it on the sdc2300 and it gives good audio and volume control, and nil or near enough to no delay in target response, can have headphones plugged into it if you want or just use it like an external speaker, which is what we do.
cheers dave

Hi Adrian
They work very well and the audio quality is a good reproduction of the original sound.Still nothing beats the direct connection for simplicity and reliability.

Re: Pro Sonic Wireless.
Yes second hand. Will give it a try if it is still for sale tomorrow......Other wireless units that I have used have been failures due to low quality sound, long signal delay and high battery consumption.
I did have one half decent unit that I used with the SDC and the GB Pro but it was stolen out of my car with my previous Gold Bug and I never bothered to get another one until now. this one is priced reasonably well so will give it a try.
Yeah deutran, the simplicity of wired HPs is hard to beat. In 58 years of detecting with as many different detectors, I have only had one HP failure.

Re: Pro Sonic Wireless.
Does anyone know what the charge time of the Pro Sonic is when charged from flat to full charge?....While using the supplied charger.

Re: Pro Sonic Wireless.
Their pretty quick Adrian the receiver is faster from memory,I never flattened them in use but charge was never more than an hour. The transmitter did go flat for some reason a few times when not in use for a few weeks.I think it took a couple of hours then.Don't quote me on this.
Adrian if you buy second hand check the serial numbers which do rub of easily.you may have warranty left too.The serial stickers tell you if its been opened if they are damaged.

Re: Pro Sonic Wireless.
I purchased the Sonic. Recharge was approx 2 hours for the RX and the TX came up in about an hour.
The gadget works ok but I do not like the tone. A bit on the low side for me that is very noticeable on the SST and gold Bug Pro and especially on the SST because it has tone ID that does not cover a very high range. So a lot of targets sound a low-ish tone through the Pro Sonic. The Gold Bug is not so bad although the tones are mellowed a bit.
I can notice a slight delay in audio response from when the coil passes across a target to when the tone is heard in the HPs or spkr. However the response is very much better/ faster than with other wireless units that I have used.
I guess I will give this gadget a run for a while and see what happens.

Works perfectly with the Safari. Is OK with the Infinium but tone is a bit scratchy with this tecta. Works well with the Sov XS and is fine with my home built PI,
TM 808, GS 15000 and Vsat.
