Hi all.

I wasn't going to post this due to its small size, it's the other photo that is the gem for me. I scared off a one of those yellow honeyeaters and went looking to see if there was a nest. There was and 2 little eggs inside. I took my photo and then moved off to make sure she was going to go back and she did. I was surprised how low to the ground the nest was, only about a foot above the ground. Easy pickings for a cat or fox. It did pick a spot with a small fallen branch covering it for a little protection.

Nice surprise. RuU8zqU
It weighed in at 0.11 gram.

2 nice clean eggs.

Regards Axtyr.

You always find a nuggy Q15

It's amazing that the bird and its eggs/babies don't get eaten..
Fingers crossed they don't.
Great picture!

It don't matter how small a gold find is or are Axtyr. I for one can only thank you, for going out of your way to post it up, for all to see.
As for the bird nest, nature at its finest. Well done. cheers
