EOFY nuggets.

G’day everyone.

2 more trips this week and some more pieces. I wasn’t going to post these because I didn’t want to be inundated with questions about where I found them and the coordinates and I didn’t want the area to be swamped with people trying to cash in these great finds.

Both Tuesday and Thursday were cool but still bearable with a shirt on.

On Tuesday it took me quite a while to find my first and only piece and it weighed in at a massive 0.06 grams.


On Thursday I got off to a flier and it only took a few minutes before I snaffled the first magnificent piece not far from Tuesday’s great find. It weighed in at 0.04 gram. The next one took a while to get but another majestic piece also weighing in at 0.04 gram.


So there you have it. It’s still out there, you just have to persevere and you will be greatly rewarded.

I wasn't going to bother posting them but given their tiny size I thought some people might be interested. I have found one piece 2/3 the size of the smaller pieces (0.026g) but that was last year.

Hey Axtyr, mate I took your post of the size of the nuggets you found with some fun and sarcasm included by yourself so I responded in the same frame of context. I hope you seen the funny side of my post mate as I was not taking the piss in the least. You are a great poster of finds on this forum, and I take my hat off to you bro.

Good one Axtyr,, It just proves prospecting is more fun than fishing cos in fishing one has to toss the littles back and worse yeh can't get a few littles and make a biggy...
