Re: Off Topic Bitcoin.
I was one of the people who thought that bitcoin was BS when it first became available,
I had 5 grand I could have put into it at the time. What would that five grands worth of bitcoin be worth today?/

No point in crying over spilt milk fellas. In life we either do or we don't, for if every one of us new what to expect, then who the **** would be interested in working for anyone else.

Us older guys are just passing on some of our life's experiences to you younger fellas ! Had some money on a horse , $100 -$200 ? in Melbourne and it won . Was working out how much I was going to get when they announced that the stewards had put in a protest , not the jockey . I knew straight away that my horse was going to loose .

Re: Off Topic Bitcoin.
Living rich is not part of my thought processes. I doubt that I would know what to do with that kind of money. I have lived pay day to pay day all of my life and have everything I need although a bit of extra cash would be nice now and again.
Like most people who have to struggle to make ends meet who start a business. You start small and with luck and perseverance the business grows and along with that so does your bank account and then you find that the more you have the more you want and your thinking changes and suddenly what you once had that was enough is seen as small. Your house seems small so you go bigger with lots of bed rooms and games rooms and a gym and a meeting room for your board meetings and entertaining celebs and PMs and presidents. Then one day that seems to be small and you want more and more and then you need lawyers and tax agents and accountants and you spend half your time in law courts fighting those who want to take over your businesses and you take lots of migraine tabs.
Bugger that mates give me the bush and a detector and a pick any day.

Re: Off Topic Bitcoin.
Gaday mike, yesterday elsalvador made bitcoin official legal tender, they are already using it, only a third if the population has a bank account, but there using the new lighting app , peer to peer , no bank needed no middle man. other countries set to follow, JP morgan golman sachs, Wells fargo, city bank , and others are setting up funds for there biggest clients, to hedge into bitcoin, thes banks hated bitcoin 4 years ago, now they are also investing, Gary Gensler of the SEC , security exchange commission, is going after the centralized projects alt coins and the ico s. bitcoin is nit in his sights, he understands the blockchain technology behind bitcoin, and in his previous job lectured on blockchain technology, so that s promising, even etherium is not totally safe from regulation, but bitcoin , unless the internet is bombed out , or possibly Quantom computers destroy bitcoin in the future, bitcoin is here to stay for a long while yet.

G'Day Roofa
Now the kids are moving on from crypto. for a few of the reasons you have mentioned above.
Not that I'm complaining, I bought $2.5K of BCs in '13 when they we almost free compared to the price now $50K+ !!!
The latest kid on the block has nothing to do with Block Chain and is all to do with the ancient payment method called Hawala.
It is everything that Amazon is not, Anon. Purchasing, Order and Not Pay, No need to have a credit card, Supplier cannot contact you or sell your details, Service Service Service
