Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this detector mod thingy .
Seen a gp 3500 on e bay with one attached .

I knew a bloke with a superfix on his 3000, said it made the detector heaps quieter, and went much deeper as well..........

That would be Phills machine ! Did he sell it ? Would be a sweet one to buy . Well looked after An have seen it find gold before the superfix

I have a mate who has a super fix for sale if your interested.

They worked really well on the 2200, and the 3500 as well. Quieted down the ground noise and increased depth......a few years ago I went out with a bloke to some red hot ground and he had a "Superfix" on his 2200, he picked up a half ounce piece that i could not even hear on my 2200.

It must of been around 2006 when my Finders Superfix was sold , at least on my reciept it said that I purchased it around November of that year. There was a lot of healthy discussion as to the pro's and con's of the Superfix, and if your interested then a search on the Finder's Forum will provide you with information.

I think I had the Superfix out of the box for one day when I was at Bulong in Western Australia , so I rearly can't comment on it's performance and that was a long time ago. Since then it's sat in its box with it's instructions and Reciept. What did it cost you ask? $1199. They were quite the mod of the day.

I'm sure if your interested there must be still a few people around who can tell you about how this mod worked on their machines. charliec I have sent you a pm
