Hi all,

I was out detecting in the gold fields yesterday and noticed an area with plenty of diggings about 6ft deep to about 8ft deep, but there wasn't any mullock heaps next to the diggings just a small amount of elevated dirt next to the hole. What has happened to all this dirt? Is it still worth detecting?

Was there a puddler in the area as the old timers may have transported the material for processing.
