SDC 2300 On Large deep Gold??

Here is a piece  that the 2300 cannot detect in air.

Total wt = 0.21g. gold wt = ?? But 0.05g at a rough guess.
My Vsat can detect this at 6 cm at 50% gain and 10 cm at 100% gain in air and SAT at 1/2 max range and iron ID off.

It's well accepted by now that air tests on Pulse induction detectors are not a good indicator of how they might perform on undug targets in undisturbed ground.

I've found 100's of tiny bits of gold with the SDC (and other PI machines) which were almost undetectable once I got them out of the ground.

I know that others have had the same experience

You don't have to convince me mate, I agree 100%.
       I was just giving an indication of the capability/sensitivity  of the Vsat in quiet ground and the likelyhood of it being good on some mullock heaps.
In tough ground it will only detect small gold on the surface of ironstone but it takes a bit to master the Ground balance and a good ear for target tones.
