re-aligning 7000 coil
hopefully I can explain this correctly.
has anyone else heard of supposedly re-aligning your 7000 coil.
apparently if your detector is running noisy and is out of balance you can re-align your coil in some way by resetting your settings.
now I have been told this a few times but today I was told I was doing it wrong and after a conversation with minelab have been told it sounds like BS.
anyway I was told originally to do a reset all on the last page of the detectors settings, but today was told no you do this by just doing the reset audio and detection settings via quick start.
anyone been told of anything similar.
cheers

Re: re-aligning 7000 coil
Nah, BS from my perspective.
Also there is continuous noise, and there is intermittent noise due to miss-use or loose innards that results in noise bursts during movement or touching items. I believe that I have also read that bumping the coil on the ground or rocks a lot, can cause some of these issues.
But I haven't had the problem, so will leave it up to others who may have personal expwrience with the problem.
