Re: anti interference coils
G'day Joe,
I bought the 14" & 11" Anti interference coils on our second trip to WA and ran them on the 4500 & 5000 and I can tell you they were very quiet on the salt lakes over there. So I would say they would be exelant around the power lines, you need to have the coil switched to DD on the front panel and then play around with the other settings to suit how you like it. Hope this helps you some.
PS they did like the hot rocks around the salt lakes as well.
Cheers.
Mike.

Re: anti interference coils
cheers mike, yeah powerlines is the main reason for wanting to buy one did you mean they sound off on hotrocks or run over them with out sounding??? eather way no different to running normal on the 5000, i dont mind digging some ground noise just incase its a deep target!!! how are they weight wise? cheers joe,

Re: anti interference coils
G'day Joe,
They bang on the hot rocks like a good target would and the weight is same as a DD coil. I remember getting a .3 grm nuggy at about 3" and it was a nice sharp signal too.
Cheers.
