Minelab headphones with GPZ7000
Anyone have advice or an opinion the best headphones to use with the Zed, I've been using genuine Minelab headphones with the WM12 since its release and recently tried some earbuds that came with a new iPhone and the audio quality difference was staggering, going back to Minelab headphones is like going from digital to analog "thoughts anyone"

I use Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO and so far so good. They are robust, you can get all parts replaced, wash the east pads and they sound pretty good.

Obeng1, I use the Sennheiser HD558, about $190 on ebay. Far superior to the Koss, lightweight, true quality sound, picks up the finest signal, gentle on the ears, and you can still hear people speaking to you.

Thanks for that GB. Just did the conversion, very easy. Will now wait for some cool weather to try them out.
To anyone who hasn't seen what the conversion is. It's simply removing the foam backed tape from inside the outer wall. Try and keep the foam in a safe place in case you have to take the headphones back to their original state some time in the future, or if you don't like the new sound with the conversion.
GB, a bucket load of gold nugget karma points are on their way to you.
