Sending GP Extreme to Minelab? Empty Sending GP Extreme to Minelab?

Hi all,
has anyone ever sent Gp Extreme detector for maintanence to Minelab? I heard that sending it in might be a good idea as they will return it upgraded or "tuned"?

And what costs would i be looking at?
