Upgrades / timings mods for the 5000 done by Minelab ??

Vaguely remember reading here or else where ,can't remember ? that maybe Mine lab would be bringing out upgrades for the 5000 out later on ,instead of a 5500 or 6000 etc ,in all honesty I haven't even asked Mine lab ! ( in my experience they can be selective in weather they respond  to your emails or not ) or is what I read ,just mere speculation ,gossip ,rumour ??  

Can't imagine that being factual Hugh , I think they are more interested in selling $10,700 detectors , any swinging buyers of the 7000 would probably opt for an upgrade of the 5000 if it were available , that would cost Minelab 7000 sales IMO ..cheers Mick
