Appreciate Costas comment .

As the thread has been locked where the following was posted I think Costas won't mind me saying how much I liked his last paragraph ,
Shows the real strength of this forum ~   you can have your say here on the 7000  

Costas said ~   On a final note, the one great thing about this, the largest gold forum in Australia (possibly the world), is that we also now have so many other experienced prospectors that can give their reviews on the GPZ7000. At this forum we do like to provide information freely which can not only be shared by all its members but can possibly even be used by Minelab as well. :-)

Hello urban fix. Been out finding gold lately? The most important part of detecting is being in the field don't you agree? Because sitting behind a computer won't get you much.

No I haven't. I sold my 4500 a couple of weeks ago to another member of this forum, and I haven't replaced it yet.

Hell UTBN, I couldn't agree more. I just have to make up my mind as to whether I can justify the outlay for the 7000 and a second coil and if so I will be back out there and into it!

Ha I find gold everyday mate. Half oz last 2 days with zed. I tell ya what but.... Zed is one exceptional detector.

I won't disagree about the detector from the feedback I have been getting. Sounds like you are doing real well with it if you can keep that up.

Have you read the Candy paper on the zed? He is very informative in that paper re GB and a few other issues with the detector.
