GP Extreme - Does it cut it? Empty GP Extreme - Does it cut it?

Hi all,

Looking at getting back into detecting, been out of the scene for a few years.

My old man has a GP extreme. Are the older detectors worth spending the time on these days? Or are you really outgunned by the likes of the GPX 5000?

I have considered buying a detector, so i'm just trying to get some info before i make any decisions.

Any advice would be great.
