CTX 3030 Backup Battery Pack Empty CTX 3030 Backup Battery Pack

I note that the backup battery pack says to use Alkaline batteries (AA non-rechargeable) but the basic batteries in the standard pack are Lithium.  So can you use AA Lithiums and if so could these be re-chargeable Lithiums and also would they charge using the normal charger?
