7000 report from NQ
Hi all,
So far from 4 days of using the zed I have found 2.2 oz of nuggets and 3 oz of species with about half oz.
I have only visited 4 patches and 2 have been the main producers. 2 haven't given up although I haven't
spent as much time at these 2 and put more time into ones that produced.
50 pieces, biggest piece is about 3 grams heaps of 2s and 1 gramers and rest subbies, and about 5 species
with fine gold all through em.
Most were found 5 to 8 inches down in the wash with a few deep targets with a 1.7 @13 inches and the species
were mainly deep. The ground on all of these patcher were on shallow ground with a few deeper pockets of wash
in places. The soil was red clay with the wash running on top and through parts of the clay, lots of quarts and small
outcrops of it all over. And nice little bits of water worn iron stones all over.
This ground was pretty noisy and had the 7 set on high yield, difficult, sens 15 and the volumes up 2.
I think this new offering from minelab will do well in our fields up here and looking forward to the rest of the season.
The down side is it is heavy and doing long hot days up here is nearly killing me but its finding me the yellow.

Re: 7000 report from NQ
Great to hear Steve and Basada. we are getting the same results and have so far only been to one old patch. day 1 was 51 nuggets or species when dollied came to 4.17 oz. nearly all of it was vert fine gold in the species that the 5000 does not like or more solid pieces from deeper.

Hey Steve
Well done mate!!!!!!!!!!
Did you get much on the patches that you checked with the SDC, I think it will get the 1/2 grammers a bit deeper than the SDC, but the SDC gives a better target response to the smaller stuff.
Good luck & LEAVE some for me hey!!!!!!!

nq report
Hey Lee,
No didn't get any off the patches I did with the sdc . I did find a patch walking to try another patch out today
and got about 1.5 oz with a 45 gram ironstone specie with well over 1oz included. Only problem with that
was it was a sunbaker. I got a 5 gramer @ 12 inches and all the small ones were at a depth that the 5 couldn't hear
but really want to get a deep slug to see how good this thing performs on the big ones.

Hey Steve
Nice going "Too Bad" you got a "Sunbaker"
Have you had it over your 25 oz hole?? I am interested in seeing how it goes there, maybe with a bit of a dig.
I have something in the works, so we may have a pair of "Duelling" 7000's out there soon
