Central Vic Prospecting Clubs

Hi Fellers, I live in Malmsbury and I'm on the look out for a local detecting club to join. I've seen there's a Sunbury and Bendigo club. Does anyone know if there's any closer ones about as Daylesford or Castlemaine etc.?

I could be wrong but too my knowledge there in no Detecting clubs at either Daylesford or Castlemaine..

Bpc ( Bendigo prospecting club) has outings to different locations each trip. The next club outing is to Percydale near Avoca and two weeks later we will be around the Castlemaine area.

Our club (the Bendigo Prospecting club) is still in limbo. Recently groups had a limit of 20 outdoors in the bush. We thought when the new regulations came it would be lifted to a higher number. Instead it was brought back to ten.
We were supposed to have our AGM in June but the 20 people restrictions on the Golden Square hall we use mean it will have to wait. Legally we are supposed to have it by October but i guess an extension will be allowed.
Our club newsletter is made and the maps to the next outing location are included. We cannot put a date onto the publication but it seems to be getting further away as the months progress.
