Gold while fishing Empty Gold while fishing

I can't quite believe this but I picked up a small flake of gold while fishing on the Upper Yarra River today.  Shocked  It was partly wedged in a crack/clay on a small rock outcrop, and yes, it is definitely gold. No photos as my phone is actually on of those that makes phone calls -will try for the photo tomorrow. I've caught fish before while fossicking, but never the reverse  Very Happy

Plenty of gold found by the old timers in 1851 around Warrandyte way  Very Happy
