Re: coil for s.d. 2200d
How the pick business going there junkyarddog? I have to say, I'm pretty happy with my one. Anyway back to your question, mullock heaps usually but not always, have very small nuggets, most unfortunately would be almost invisible to the 2200d with a DD coil. If you were going to work a small area and travel along very slowly, you could try using a mono, say the standard 11" Commander and try and pick the "ping" in-amongst all the ground noise. Some people say the Joey DD is still sensitive to the small nuggets, but from my experience using a Joey DD, I found that it still lacked the sensitivity of even the 11"mono....but that was from my experience.

Coiltec 11 inch round DD for the scanning of highly mineralized piles,or 11 inch round mono for clay heaps.Same applies for both the 10x5 Coiltek DD or mono.
