Howdy,

We get first deliveries of the Garrett ATX this week.
All sold out tho.
But we will get to see how they go.
We are now taking pre-orders for the next shipment.

Hold on to your hats, its going to be interesting.

Now where is a 3 ounce nugget I can use to test with.
I usually just use a 1g n 2g nugget.

Cheers.

It seems that there is a definate lack of test results (Australian conditions) available on these machines, good results and these machines will sell themselves, poor results or simply the lack of test results and these babies will be stayin on the shelf....meanwhile......we wait Wink .

New Garrett ATX PI metal detector orders being taken. Toys and Things Wollongong Empty lol, I am sure the review will roll on it once people received the first deliveries just now underway.

Roal,
yes, the detector has only just made it into stores.
All sold out and being delivered.
We are now taking pre-orders for the next delivery in December.

They are being delivered as we speak.

Once people get them, open their boxs.
Read their manual and turn the detector on.
We will then start hearing about them.

I for one have just tested one ATX detector.
It is well made, works well.
tested in my local park. a bit of EMI n lots a junk.
1g nugget 8 inchs.
2g nugget 11 inchs.
5c coin 13 inchs.
Max sensitivity, min, no threshold,
so u could raise the threshold to listen to it
and gain depth.
Seems better then my infinium with an 8" mono coil.
Thats all for now.
Cheers.
Lee.
ps. Needs testing in the goldfields alongside
other detectors.
Need a 3 ounce nugget to test with too..Smile
For now a big thumbs up.
