Loading waypoints into Google Earth
To all that use Ozi-Explorer as the main mapping program.
Within Ozi there is a link to load all your ozi data from Ozi to Google E you just have to load the Google buttons on your Ozi Toolbar it will look like this.

Re: Loading waypoints into Google Earth
If you load all your Data on to a map in Ozi you can now view it all in Google E or you can save it as a KML file and then open GE and load it or save it to a folder and load then all later.
If you click on save
You can save them and load them later in GE
You also can click on save Button and then down to Export to GE and do it that way.

G'day Detrack

Re: Loading waypoints into Google Earth
Ok yes, now when I try that the google earth button is not there. I may need to update to a later version of Ozie, as mine is 3.95.3c I guess it is fairly old now.
What version do I need or what do you recommend

Re: Loading waypoints into Google Earth
As I use a few different mapping programs, I have found saving waypoints as GPX files in Ozi is another choice. Google Earth also gives you this option too. For those that are interested KMZ files can be unziped into KML files with PKZIP programs.

Re: Loading waypoints into Google Earth
Hi Detrac
I always used to switch between GE and OzE to try and find the specific spot on each program. This post is the best thing after sliced bread!
Thanks again.
PS. With my GPS and Moving Map now sorted, I am starting to get a grip on all the gadgets!
Best

Dave
Next time post on the Led's (there is a ozi Heading there) and I will be there to tell you I bet your still playing with it all now.
Once I finish this special Map of Tibooburra I will PM you with some good Google overlay's and Ozi Data
just incase you get back there this year.
Will post other ticks that some may not know how to do.
