Info wanted on selling a GP3500

A friend told me he had a GP3500 that he used once on his farm after a bushfire showed an old tailing race . He got it new and has not used it since and not sure if the battery is ok. The info he wants is what is it worth and were can he advertise it. Has no computer experience and not interested in E-Bay. Any ideas guys.

You or one of his other mates with internet access could always sell it for him on ebay or even put it in the "Items wanted or to sell" section on this site. Failing that the next best bet would probably be the Trading Post.

Hi Geoff, if hes a good mate, they seem to fetch between 3K and 3 1/2K on ebay generally with a coil or 3 and a few extras.

If he's not a good mate, they fetch 1 1/2K and you know a bloke (me) who'll reluctantly take it off his hands

I agree with madtuna price guide, on Ebay apart from 4500, the detectors are usually going for their number that is a 3000 makes $3000, 3500 makes $3500 and 4000 makes $4000.
