Hi all,

Just thought I'd say g'day. Looking at getting a detector and doing some swinging in the GT. we are currently in Maryborough in a motel and will be doing a detecting course with the boys from Coiltek tomorrow. Doing a couples with the wife and looking forward to the start of a great new hobby.

Welcome to the forum and hope to CU one day out in the bush.

Take some time to look through the rules and guide line of the forum and don't forget to askk questions and look through the old posts as there is plennty of great info.

if postiing photo's therre iis alsoo some great info on how to do it.

You should have a good day with the lads at Coiltek, I spend most of my time at Point cook through out the week just might see you about I have many coffee breaks at the Point cook shopping centre.

Might be abit slow go to start of on this hobby but hang in there the gold will come your way read as most as you can reseach maps an walk as often as you can.

What detector do you have and if not yet what are you thinking of geting.

I live in Point Cook and regularly have a coffee in a Coffee club here.So we might catch up one day and talk gold.
David we can catch up us well. Wouldn't mind get some advise about maps/gps.
