As most of you may know, or may not know, that Hobo Gold is going to demonstrate his little gold furnace in action at the Bash. Hobo will melt down any gold that you have into gold bars at a cost of $10 per pore. His will pay for his gas used.
Well next to him (and this the good part) there will be a GOLD BUYER from Melbourne Gold Exchange willing to buy your gold bars for "CASH". His deal is " gold price on the day + 2% by purity by weight. In other words if we work it out on today's price and you had a gold bar that weighed, say, 64.5 gm at 97% pure (Vic gold) and the gold price is $50.10 per gm or $1558.22 per oz the formulary would be :-
$50-10 +2% X 64.5 X 97% = $3197-19  Not a bad deal !!!
The buy has a machine that can give reading of purity parts per million of gold or silver (I think that right)
So if you want to cash in some of your gold and don't what to pay E-bay fees and Pay Pal fees or loose 17 - 20% of gold price here is your chance. He may be only there on the Saturday.

As a matter of interest Winnemucca, how do you know his machine is "deadly accurate?"

well the reason is I sold the man 3 1oz, gold coins, 2 x U.S. $50.00 gold pieces (they are alloyed with 3% copper and 6% silver) and 1 x Australian Gold nugget series coin .999 fine.
Also had him look at some jewelry and every item was impressively accurate.
