gpx 4500 ground balance
Hi my gpx 4500 in the last couple of months is hard to ground balance , it is eratic all of a sudden can any one help?

Also check that your quick trak button is working.
I had a problem in that the button would work if pressed in the 12 or 3 o'clock position.
Pressing in the 9 and 6 o'clock position or pressing centrally, the quick trak wouldn't work.
To check this out switch the ground balance switch to Tracking and press the quick trak button as you would normally press it. You should get a short beep which indicates the unit is ground balancing. If you don't get this tone it is either the connection or the button. Intermittent I would suspect the button (switch).
