Re: Nothing Hard About Panning
Couldn't agree more
It was your instructions from that link that changed my panning for ever
For me the hardest part to control is maintaining a good rhythm! setting your self up nice and comfy helps heaps
In all honesty, anyone who's not prepared to change to this method is missing out big time!
Cheers
Chris.

Re: Nothing Hard About Panning
This is a great bit of advice , just like detecting slowing down a touch can help a lot. When I pan , I pan down to just before black sand stage and pour of into a sealed container which I take home .I do a gold content check every few pans to make sure that i am still on it.On returning home after a week or whatever time out I do my clean up, this gives maximum time processing material whilst in the field and then the comfiest chair at home to separate black sand and gold.Plus my son who is 10 gets to help and learns the basics at home.
