Re: x terra 705 faulsing
Hi Steve, I have only had my 705 for just over a month but have been using it a fair bit around parks. I have had no problems with falsing as yet. The only things that can make the machine false (that i know of) are
1. interference with nearby electrical signals (adjust noise cancel)
2. patches of ground with varying mineralisation, affecting ground balance (maybe use ground tracking)
3. hitting the ground
Failing that I guess it may be the machine itself??? otherwise, i dont know sorry.

Hey Steve I've got a 705 and I've noticed when running it in prospecting mode if I use the pin point function it just goes off at times especially when you lift the coil up, it screams it's tits off till I put it back on the ground.

Good to know I'll go check my cover too now but I think my settings may also be the problem as I been playing in trashy areas like under grandstands & around sports fields. heaps of aluminium pieces.
