Gday - New member from Canberra ACT

Gday All,

Just been reading the forums, seems to be a great deal of information and some great blokes willing to assist. I just did a metal detecting lesson with Coiltek Maryborough and it was great. I now have the bug and looking at purchasing a GPX 5000. Still trying to get an understanding of what is around ACT and southern NSW. Any suggestions of where to gather information would be appreciated. I have googled and looked for Canberra clubs. I see another Bloke (Eric) has posted from Canberra with the same questions. Anyway I am sure I will have more questions as I get more into it
