Another newbie.Information on TDI PRO OZ SERIES appreciated.
Hi all Iam just new to detecting i managed to pick up a second hand TDI Oz Pro 6 months old purchased from Dunnolly Gold Search for $1200.
I have three coils two Colitek goldstalkers one 6 inches the other 14 by 9 inches and a TDI oz single field.
I was wondering if people might be able to help me out with some settings and tips on how to use this machine and general thoughts about it. I went out yesterday and detected an old backhoe tooth and a piece of tin so i guess its working.
Any help would be appreciated.

G'day outwest & welcome to the forum
There are some on here that have the same machine you bought, I don't and don't know much about them except to say get to know the machine you have and use it in areas that suit it best.
Good luck with you new hobby and your new machine, the main thing is to enjoy what your doing.
cheers dave

G'day outwest ... me too! only further ... over in SA Nice ta meet ya!
Sorry, I don't know anything about that machine, but I'm sure someone will have all the 'good oil' ... just spend plenty of time with your machine and learn its language! Every variety is different, and even individual machines of the same model can have their own idiosyncracies. Enjoy!!

G'day outwest,
I have a TDI Pro Oz series as well. They're a good machine. Possibly don't go as deep as a ML 5000 but only by an inch or so when deep. You will find gold with one but like all PI machines there is a learning curve.
Best advice I can give is to put you onto some good forums for them. But I'm not allowed to post links as a new member so PM me and I will give you the links in an email.
There is a good post on ground balance in the TDI classroom forum.
cheers,
DetectorDave
