Under the New prospecting laws Diamond fossicking is not lawful.

For those that are unaware the following are prohibitted,

Diamond fossicking,

Verterbrate fossils

and Meteorites.

Those who want to complain remember that until last year it was illegl to fossick for Gold outside two small areas!

The new Regulations allow for Fossicking in places where it was prevriously impossible to go, one can now even enter EL provided that one does not interfere with actual mining!
