Re: Another 'Newbie' Help please
G'day Gary ... and welcome to the forum
Not sure that I can help you much, seeing as I'm in South Australia and I'm thinking that the majority of members here are in the Southern Hemisphere ie Australia, New Zealand. Although I have noticed several international members ... USA, Canada etc.
Check out the sections within the site ... I'm sure you will find one that is pretty much full of information about sluice-ing and the like.
Anyway, just wanted to say Hi! & Welcome

Re: Another 'Newbie' Help please
G'day Gary,
1. The Garrett Deluxe pan kit is a good place to start, comes with all the little bits you need.
2. I personsally use a metal Keene sluice, but the cheaper angus mackirk fiberglass ones are very good too.
3. Head north, most of the uk goldfields are in northern wales and Scotland. But don't expect huge amounts.
